InterGlobe starts pilot training in Noida

DELHI
Aviation services provider InterGlobe and CAE Saturday opened their joint venture (JV) facility for pilot training with an investment of $25 million.

The new facility opened at Greater Noida in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be used to train budget passenger carrier GoAir’s pilots for Airbus A-320 aircraft from December.

The facility in the intervening days is training pilots of InterGlobe’s own airline – IndiGo.

“This is a momentous occasion for us. We are confident that this venture will enable pilots to be well equipped and trained,” said Rahul Bhatia, group managing director, InterGlobe Enterprises.

“India is amongst the fastest growing civil aviation markets in the world with a growing need for trained pilots. This Centre will help address this requirement.”
