ALAPPUZHA: The Kerala government will construct an industrial museum in Alappuzha. It will be an initiative to conserve heritage of the place.
The project would be taken up as part of the Alappuzha mega tourism project, Finance Minister Thomas Isaac, who represents Alappuzha constituency, said, reports The Hindu.
The project, costing Rs. 30 crore, will include conservation of Gujarati heritage.
The conservation plans will be discussed at a seminar to be held here on October 28 and 29.
Mr.Isaac said that the aim was to provide a day-long tour for the tourists, providing opportunity to learn about the heritage of the place. Steps would be taken for conservation of Gujarati street.
