Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd (TCGL) has won the prestigious “CNBC Awaaz Travel Award 2013” for the best state tourism board for a second time in row.
The award was received by Vipul Mittra, State Principal Secretary, Tourism, Civil Aviation and Pilgrimage, in Mumbai, on Monday.
The seventh series of the awards, presented by Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC), aims to recognise organisations, destinations, infrastructure and service providers dealing in the tourism industry, according to a press release here.
