KOCHI
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized one kg of gold from a passenger who arrived at the Nedumbassery international airport from Dubai at 2.25 a.m. on Saturday.
DRI officials seized the gold from P. Mohammad Salim, a native of Kasaragod.
Officials said Salim cut a gold bar into pieces and concealed it in the batteries of an LED light he was carrying in his baggage.
