Goa seeks hike in funding from MoT

Tourism minister Dilip Parulekar highlighted issues including visa-on-arrival policy and better facilities for foreign tourists at the Dabolim airport in his meeting with Union Minister of state for tourism Chiranjeevi in New Delhi on Tuesday, July 9.

Parulekar has also demanded an increase in funding for the state’s tourism infrastructure and better exposure under the tourism ministry’s marketing and promotion of the state under the Incredible India campaign.

The state tourism department has invited bids for the drafting of a master plan for the state that will finalize a road map for the tourism sector for the next 25-30 years.
