The tourism department has started the process of selecting an agency to prepare a tourism master plan for Goa. This week, the department opened the techno-commercial bids received from four companies Feedback Infra, KPMG, IL&FS and Deloitte.
A tourism industry official said the financial bids would be opened shortly and within the next 10-15 days, an agency will be selected to draw a master plan that will help government authorities carry out development of the tourism sector.
The agency will be selected by the government-appointed committee that comprises experts as well as government representatives. The master plan will be a road map for Goa tourism for a period of at least three decades.
