In a bid to promote Goa as a cultural and holiday tourism destination, particularly during the monsoon season, the State Tourism Department has announced special packages for those who travel to the State between June and September.
Announcing this at a press conference here recently, Dilip Parulekar, Minister of Tourism, Goa, said the State looks most beautiful during the rains.
“We welcome the tourists from Tamil Nadu to come and experience Goa’s greenery, the hinterlands and beaches during this season.”
The State also celebrates several festivals during monsoon and the Goa Tourism Development Corporation has come out with special cost-effective offers to cash in on the season.
