DELHI: The German National Tourist Office (GNTO) in India has announced the dates for its annual roadshow.
The roadshows will start from Mumbai on November 28 at St. Regis Hotel, then travel to Chennai on November 29 at ITC Grand Chola; Kolkata on November 30 at Park Hotel and Delhi on December 2 at Le Meridien, reports Travel Biz Monitor.
A networking dinner will also be held on December 1 at the same venue in Delhi. The focus of the GNTO India annual roadshow would be to reconnect with the trade and update them on the latest product offerings from destination Germany.
“For the roadshow, so far we have 10 German partners who would be joining us on our four-city roadshow this year. These include AccorHotels, Maritim Hotels, airbelin, Lufthansa German Airlines, the cities of Baden Baden, Cologne and Stuttgart, KD German Rhine Line and the region of Saxony. All these partners have found great value and formed new associations in meeting with the Indian partners on a regular basis via our roadshow,” informed Romit Theophilus, Director – Sales and Marketing, GNTO India.
The GNTO launched the German Nature at its campaign earlier this year and has got a great response from the trade and travellers alike. GNTO India office has promoted this theme widely via their trade partner channels and also through their newly launched Facebook page, celebrating 10 years of its presence in the Indian market.
“GNTO successfully launched its India Facebook page in February 2016 which today has over 500,000 followers already and has been regularly engaging travellers with fun contests and lively content. We hope that this page becomes the hub for discussions on travelling to Germany, sharing of itineraries and experiences and new exciting travel finds in the country,” said Theophilus.
