At a time when hotel room tariffs in Chennai are hitting rock-bottom due to over supply, French hospitality company Accor is bringing in 330 rooms across five new hotels over the next two years.
The group, which runs a range of hotels under brands such as Novotel, Sofitel, Ibis and Pullman, is planning to set up four hotels on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) and one on Mount Road, said Nitin Chandra, director of sales, Accor Chennai.
