Expo Milan to hold roadshows in India in Nov’

Officials of Expo Milano 2015 will conduct roadshows in India starting from November 24 to promote the Expo in the Indian markets, reports Travel Biz Monitor.

Themed ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’, the Expo intends to create awareness about the right to healthy, safe and sufficient food, environmental sustainability, social and economic food chain, and preservation of taste and culture of food. The Expo will be held from May 1-October 31 2015 in Milan, Italy with participation from 144 countries.

About 20-24 million visitors are expected to attend the expo. “We had a target to sell four million tickets before the Expo Milano 2015 and as of now we have already achieved the target, selling a record number,” informed Alessandro Mancini, Head, Ticketing and Tourism, Event Management Division, Expo Milano 2015.

In India, the roadshows will be held in four locations including Mumbai and Kolkata.
