Eco-Tourism Conclave, the first of its kind in India, would be organised jointly by the Government of Manipur and Eco-tourism Society of India (ESOI) on April 7 and 8 at Royale Classic Conference Hall, Classic Hotel.
Briefing media persons today at Classic Hotel, Honorary Secretary of ESOI, Rakesh Mathur said that the two-day conclave, which is aimed at focusing on tourism development, would help develop tourism sector in Manipur.
A deliberation on code of ethics and guidelines on culture, media, home stay and community ecotourism practices, safe and honourable tourism would mark the conclave besides discussion on adventure tourism, golf tourism, polo tourism, water tourism and sports culture and tribal tourism, Rakesh said.
