Domestic destinations attractive due to falling rupee: Assocham


The fall in rupee has forced Indian tourists to not only restrict their vacation days, but also opt for domestic holidays over foreign trips, says a study by Assocham.

Indian tourist outflow has declined by 15-20% in the last two months due to falling rupee, reveals the findings by the industry body in its study ‘Weak rupee makes foreign trips unaffordable for Indians’.
