PUNE
A total of 157 passengers on board Air India’s flight AI 853 from Delhi to Pune had a narrow escape when two rear tyres of the aircraft burst while landing at Pune’s Lohegaon airport around 9.30pm on Saturday.
Airport director Manoj K Gangal confirmed the incident. “The aircraft landed with two tyre bursts in the rear, but fortunately there was no further damage.”
