Several major airlines including GoAir, SpiceJet and IndiGo have issued travel advisories to passengers asking them to check their flight status before heading for the Patna airport.
Incessant rainfall in Bihar has badly hit normal life, with almost all areas of capital city Patna under knee-deep waters and people struggling to meet their daily needs, reports Mint.
Due to water-logging in Patna, there could be heavy traffic. Passengers are advised to keep extra time in hand, IndiGo said.
Due to bad weather at Patna, all departures/arrivals and their consequential flights might get affected, SpiceJet tweeted.
GoAir too expects that arrival and departure could be affected at Patna’s Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport.
