CAG finds Goa tourism site lacklustre

The lack of proper updating and uploading of information on tourism department’s official website has been pointed out by the comptroller and auditor general of India ( CAG).

The website did not contain updated information on hotels, packages and other details, the report for March 2011-2012 has stated.

“There was no location finder, route map. Unlike the tourism websites of other states such as Kerala and Gujarat, the website of Goa tourism department was deficient in content and lacklustre,” the report stated.
