BPTP ropes in Fairmont to run hotel in Noida

There is no stopping developers from building hotels in Noida as domestic and international brands vie to grab a share of the traffic going to the Taj Mahal via the Yamuna Expressway. The latest entry is Canadian luxury hotel operator Fairmont, which has signed a hotel management contract with real estate developer BPTP. The hotel will come up on a portion of the 21 acres of land that BPTP owns in sector 94. The company is already building a 500-room Grand Hyatt at the same location.

The fivestar Fairmont hotel will have 175 rooms and 100 Fairmont residences. This is Fairmont’s second hotel in the country after the one in Jaipur. “As a matter of company policy, we do not comment on our ongoing discussions with potential owners,” said Vivek Narain, director for development for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International in an email response to questions sent by ET. BPTP did not respond either to an email query.
