KAKINADA
For the convenience of tourists who wish to visit Hope Island, located amidst the Bay of Bengal near here, the Tourism department launched a boat facility from the Jawahar Jetty here.
Inaugurating the facility on Sunday, Minister for Co-operation Kasu Krishna Reddy said that the government was taking all steps to develop Hope Island as a major tourist attraction.
Connectivity
He said that improving connectivity to the island was one such move by the government.
Steps would be taken for the beautification of the Hope Island in the days to come, he said.
