Beach corridor will boost tourism: Chandana


VISAKHAPATNAM
The Rs.45-crore Visakhapatnam-Bheemunipatnam Beach Corridor Project would make the city a hub for leisure tourists and beach lovers, Special Chief Secretary, Tourism Chandana Khan said on Saturday.

During an interactive session with a Canadian delegation, she said the project, which got administrative sanction recently, was being taken up on a fast-track mode by widening the beach road from the city to the 17 century Dutch township and creating amenities all along the corridor.
