Waiting for a bus might finally be less stressful. The Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System (DIMTS), which manages cluster buses, has launched a phone-based application for information on bus schedule, timing, etc.
A DIMTS spokeswoman said, “The Delhi Transit Bus Info app will provide information on the expected arrival time of buses. It will also provide details on routes, bus stops, etc.” The app will also advise commuters on which bus to take for reaching their destination. The move comes when the Delhi government is struggling to implement its passenger information system, where bus stops would have boards displaying information.
