DELHI: Sri Lanka based destination management company (DMC) has appointed Nijhawan Group as its India representative. Ankush Nijhawan, Managing Director, Nijhawan Group said that his group has been representing Aitken since 2013. This new development has further strengthened their partnership.
Suranga Ratnayake, AVP, Aitken said that with an estimated annual inbound volume of 1,30,000 tourists, Aitken Spence is known among the most professional in the business. He added that the firm is fully diversified into every aspect of tourism related activities including leisure, eco, adventure, MICE, shore excursions for cruise liners and luxury tours.
The DMC is accredited with the ISO 9001:2008 certification, and its operations conform to 14001:2004 environmental standards in compliance with Carbon Neutral status. Aitken Spence Travels also are in the Hall of Fame of Tourism in Sri Lanka recognised by the Ministry of Tourism.
