MUMBAI
The Vijayawada based low-cost airline Air Costa on Sunday launched its Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam flight and there on connecting to Bangalore, Bhubhaneswar, Jaipur and Chennai. According to the schedule, Air Costa will be operating direct flight from Sunday starting with Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam, Visakhapatnam to Chennai (via Hyderabad), Visakhapatnam to Bangalore (direct) and Visakhapatnam to Jaipur (via Bangalore).
Air Costa’s managing director LVS Rajasekhar says “Internal research threw up vast potential for air connectivity to Vizag to cater to ongoing infrastructure development in the region. To exploit it, Air Costa will serve tier-II and tier-III cities and connect them with existing metros and routes like Vizag to Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai”.
