AHMEDABAD
While the ‘City of Joy’ Kolkata has emerged as the most expensive amongst India’s top cities, the TripAdvisor TripIndex ranks Ahmedabad as the most pocket-friendly city for travellers.
Nikhil Ganju, country manager, TripAdvisor India said that the TripIndes is an useful reference for travellers to plan their trip budgets.
According to the index, an evening in Ahmedabad for two would approximately cost Rs 6406 including a four-star hotel room, which is around Rs 3709 cheaper than Kolkata.
The TripIndex tracks the cost of an evening out for two people in any of the major cities in the country.
