Goa to promote its tourism at Surajkund

One of the objectives of Goa Tourism is to promote various facets of the state both in India and abroad. The Government of Haryana has invited State of Goa to participate in the forthcoming edition of the Surajkund Mela as the ‘theme state’ is a great honour. The 28th Surajkund International Crafts Mela will be held from February 1-15, 2014 in the Surajkund district, Faridabad, Haryana.Goa Tourism is planning to make the most of this event and use it as a platform to showcase and promote Goa’s culture, folk dances, handicrafts and more. Goa Tourism is focussing on promotion of State among domestic and foreign tourists as a great cultural and heritage tourism destination and participation in the Surajkund Mala which is amongst one of the biggest in the world in terms of attendance, is a major effort in this direction.
